Pay attention to this ninety minutes of Richard III will create an intimate connection between you and this political fiend who seeks to get under your skin to the point when you won’t be able to distinguish between yourself and this famous Shakspearian witty villain. Working under the assumption that a black box can be treated as a machine for the imagination, this version of Shakespeare’s play focuses on a company of actors exploring the interstices of jealousy and darkness in a society that pays constant homage to appearances. This old Shakespeare tale of a misfit that sets a course to sink not only his family but the world around it is analysed through a company of Senior performers through a flexible staging and incorporating video design and simultaneous broadcasting.
